A recipient of the Grand Prize in the 2020 John Lennon Songwriting Contest, Jason has written and performed 100+ original songs while sharing stages with artists including Jason Mraz, Gregory Page, Tom Brosseau, and Ari Hest.

After spending much of his career writing and performing on acoustic guitar, Jason's creative focus has increasingly shifted toward the drum set as his primary instrument and artistic voice. Today his work spans songwriting & performing, sync licensing, commissioned compositions, and collaborative projects, bringing a songwriter's perspective to rhythm, texture, and arrangement.

Whether writing for himself, other artists & organizations, or visual media, Jason is drawn to music that serves the story and leaves room for listeners to find themselves inside it.

When he's not crafting his own music, Jason helps out other musicians, supporting their artistic journeys by playing drums in their projects.
